LA VOILE is a fashion editorial series for Rain Magazine, capturing model Aluel Keror through a raw, artistic lens. The project leans into an analogue film aesthetic, utilizing moody, low-key lighting and pronounced grainy textures to emphasize the sculptural silhouettes of the garments. The visual approach relies on high-contrast compositions and textured backdrops, ranging from reflective architectural surfaces to organic, dark environments. These elements combine to highlight intricate floral appliqués and experimental draping techniques, favoring a gritty, cinematic quality throughout the series. Developed under the editorial direction of Mark Benjamin with fashion styling by Maria Teresa Strippoli, the project emphasizes volume and form through a distinct desaturated palette punctuated by vibrant, recurring accents.
