Duality is a fashion editorial series for Rain Magazine that explores the relationship between structured design and tactile surfaces. Captured by photographer Oda Eide, the project leans into a clean aesthetic, balancing avant-garde silhouettes against urban and domestic backdrops. The work utilizes natural light to emphasize the materiality of high-contrast textiles, from shaggy faux furs and metallic finishes to soft knitwear. Masashi Konno provides hair styling, which complements the collection's diverse aesthetic, moving from voluminous, natural waves to sharp, minimalist bobs. The series frequently employs tactile, collage-inspired layering and subtle grainy textures, grounding the high-fashion styling in an organic, analogue-leaning visual language.
