Puma
Mostro Ad Campaign

Jul 2025
For the launch of the Mostro, Puma leans into a high-concept visual narrative that masterfully blurs the lines between sportswear performance and avant-garde fashion editorial. Featuring model Amelia Gray as the campaign face, the creative direction centers on a stark, minimalist aesthetic defined by high-contrast environments and moody, cinematic lighting. Through a series of carefully composed shots ranging from sleek, metallic elevator interiors to pitch-black, geometric stairwells, the campaign highlights the shoe’s unique silhouette, specifically its iconic spiky rubber tread and minimalist strap system. The imagery utilizes a mix of studio strobe and atmospheric natural light to emphasize the interplay between the collection’s technical sportswear elements—like cropped zip-up jackets and athletic mesh—and softer, textural details such as lace-trimmed skirts and sheer tights. By placing the subject in gravity-defying poses and utilizing reflective, mirrored surfaces, the campaign creates a surreal, clean-lined environment that feels both professional and intentionally edgy. This project succeeds by treating the footwear as a high-fashion accessory, effectively bridging the gap between functional athletic utility and elevated street style. With its sharp, calculated composition and meticulous attention to material texture, the Mostro ad campaign stands as a compelling example of modern commercial photography that prioritizes mood and narrative over traditional product presentation.
