Players Issue #1 explores the intersection of athletics and streetwear through a collection of documentary and editorial imagery. Photographed by Nolan Zangas and Ricardo Gomes, the project features a series of portraits and candid street scenes that emphasize relaxed, sportswear-inspired silhouettes and athletic gear. The visuals lean into a monochrome aesthetic in studio settings, while outdoor editorial sequences utilize natural light against urban backdrops. Under the direction of Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld, the project incorporates styling and grooming contributions from Akihisa Yamaguchi and Mitch Yoshida. The imagery highlights a mix of oversized denim, tracksuits, and technical sportswear within diverse city environments.
