Players Issue #1 captures the intersection of contemporary streetwear and athletic culture through an editorial lens. The project features a series of portraits and candid scenes that highlight sportswear-inspired silhouettes and relaxed tailoring, utilizing natural light and high-contrast monochrome documentary techniques to define its visual identity. Under the direction of Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld, the series places models in both controlled studio environments and active urban settings. Photographers Nolan Zangas and Ricardo Gomes lean into an editorial approach, documenting groups against city avenues and textured backdrops. Hair styling by Akihisa Yamaguchi and makeup by Mitch Yoshida complement the collection's focus on varied, street-ready aesthetics.
