Neutra VDL
Brand Identity

Jun 2022
Mouthwash Studio developed a comprehensive brand identity for the Neutra VDL Studio and Residences, focusing on the architectural legacy of the VDL Research House. The project utilizes a minimalist aesthetic, pairing clean sans-serif typography with structured grid arrangements to balance archival documentation and modern interface design. The visual identity leans into a refined modernist style, incorporating historical architectural photography by Elizabeth Carababas and detailed floor plan graphics. The collateral suite features textured print elements, including guidebooks and posters, alongside interactive digital layouts developed by Jason Bradley. Techniques such as grainy film textures and analogue-inspired overlays provide a tactile connection to the site's history while maintaining a contemporary commercial presence.
