Mond
Brand Identity

Jul 2020
The brand identity for Mond acts as a masterclass in cohesive environmental design, seamlessly bridging the gap between tactile hospitality and high-end commercial branding. Under the meticulous graphic design of Kevin Högger, the project establishes a visual language that relies on minimalist typography and a sophisticated, muted palette of sage, coral, and deep navy. The identity feels rooted in a modern, architectural sensibility, where the fluidity of raw concrete is balanced by the warmth of natural wood and geometric abstraction. Photography by Rasmus Norlander captures this duality, utilizing natural light to highlight the pointillist textures of abstract posters and the metallic finish of bespoke coffee packaging. Throughout the campaign, the brand leans into a curated aesthetic that feels both industrial and inviting. By integrating graphic design elements like dot-matrix patterns and structured UI illustrations into the physical space—seen in the brutalist patio designs and fabric-wrapped menus—the project transforms basic brand collateral into an immersive experience. Whether manifesting as bold dimensional signage on weathered stone or as intimate, lifestyle-oriented social imagery, the work maintains a rigorous consistency. This approach highlights a thoughtful commitment to commercial design principles, where negative space and material tactility serve as the foundation for a brand that is as comfortable in a minimalist studio setting as it is in a lively outdoor terrace.
