POSITIONS for MMScene is a comprehensive fashion editorial project that explores the interplay between the human form and minimalist sculptural objects. Through a series of studio-based portraits, the work captures a range of moods, moving between casual, candid expressions and composed, high-contrast character studies. Photographer Joey Leo utilizes soft directional lighting and distinct monochrome grading to highlight skin textures and facial contours. The series frequently employs diptych layouts to juxtapose close-up details with wider frames, leaning into a clean, minimalist aesthetic. By integrating elements like sculptural furniture and high-contrast shadows, the project emphasises form and composition within a refined, contemporary editorial context.
