Dreaming Awake is a fashion editorial series for MMScene that explores the intersection of high-concept sculptural millinery and gritty urban realism. Photographed by Elys Berroteran, the collection balances minimalist studio portraiture with wide-angle location work. The visuals lean into an analogue film aesthetic, utilizing monochrome tones and soft directional lighting to emphasize texture and form. The project features styling by Victor Lopez, who integrates elaborate, oversized feathered headpieces with sharp contemporary tailoring. Moving between clean studio settings and weathered waterfront piers or tight city alleyways, the work employs a blend of chiaroscuro lighting and natural light to frame the subject’s contemplative presence.
