Mercedes explores the intersection of biological form and industrial engineering in this cinematic commercial, titled 'Shapes'. The project draws a visual parallel between the streamlined anatomy of nature—specifically a cheetah and a shark—and the aerodynamic silhouette of the brand's automobile. Executed with a desaturated and clean aesthetic, the film uses high-contrast visuals and integrated 3D render and CGI techniques to illustrate airflow and drag coefficients. Agency Merkley+Partners led the creative vision, while Blacksmith provided the technical execution for the post-production and VFX.
