For Luncheon Magazine, photographer Elizaveta Porodina and fashion editor Ellie Grace Cumming present 'The Wallpeople,' a sprawling fashion editorial that blurs the lines between high fashion and surrealist installation art. Across a series of theatrical tableaus, the project features model Viktoria Wirs immersed in a dark, atmospheric world populated by uncanny sculptural entities. The aesthetic leans heavily into low-key chiaroscuro lighting and monochrome textures to emphasize the intricate set design by Gary Card, which incorporates plaster-like forms, paper collages, and glowing, spectral figures. The visual narrative combines cinematic movement with static, surreal portraits to create a sense of otherworldly scale and tactile depth. Supporting the project’s distinct beauty direction are hair stylist Soichi Inagaki and makeup artist Laura Dominique, with additional contributions from casting director Noah Shelley and manicurist Abena Robinson.
