Luncheon Magazine’s 'The Wallpeople' is a surrealist fashion editorial that explores a dreamlike, theatrical narrative through high-contrast imagery. Photographer Elizaveta Porodina captures model Viktoria Wirs amidst an otherworldly environment defined by Gary Card’s elaborate sculptural set design, which incorporates tactile, plaster-like textures and spectral, oversized forms. The visual language leans into a moody chiaroscuro aesthetic, utilizing long exposure techniques and dramatic light to bridge the gap between reality and fantasy. Fashion editor Ellie Grace Cumming anchors the series with voluminous gowns and shredded fabric textures, while hair by Soichi Inagaki and makeup by Laura Dominique contribute to the ethereal, pale beauty direction.
