Louis Vuitton
Resort 2024 Ad Campaign

Nov 2023
The Louis Vuitton Resort 2024 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in atmospheric luxury, transporting the viewer to the historic Isola Bella gardens at Lake Maggiore. Under the visionary creative direction of Nicolas Ghesquière, the campaign captures the essence of escapism, blending the house’s heritage with a modern, romantic sensibility. Photographer Jamie Hawkesworth leans into a cinematic, editorial aesthetic, utilizing golden hour light and the dramatic stone architecture of the Italian landscape to frame the collection. The imagery prioritizes natural light, creating a sun-drenched, ethereal quality that illuminates the intricate craftsmanship of the garments and accessories. Featuring talent including Emma Laird, Chu Wong, Ida Heiner, Mica Arganaraz, and Valentina Castro, the portraits feel both poised and intimate. Marie-Amélie Sauvé’s styling brings a tactile depth to the work, emphasizing layered, ruffled textures and the house's iconic quilted handbags against the raw, weathered backdrop of the lakefront. Beyond traditional commercial appeal, the campaign functions as a high-fashion narrative that balances structural elegance with a soft, natural fluidity. Through a lens of refined minimalism and editorial precision, this project celebrates the interplay between fashion and environment, ultimately positioning the Louis Vuitton collection as an integral element of the serene, aspirational world it inhabits.
