HERO Magazine Lo! What trembling within? 2026

About

Lo! What trembling within? is a fashion editorial produced for HERO Magazine, showcasing a series of portraits defined by an introspective and classical atmosphere. Photographer Sungmin Kim captures the collection against aged stone architecture and ecclesiastical interiors, utilizing natural light to emphasize the interplay between textured garments and historical settings. The series features a curated selection of layered silhouettes, from embellished leather jackets and structured vests to voluminous faux fur. With fashion styling by Guillem Chanza, the imagery leans into a high-contrast monochrome aesthetic and desaturated color palettes. Casting by Jordan Mergirie brings together models Konrad Bauer, Malaha Camara, and Raphaël Hosatte, while makeup artistry by Emilie Mattei focuses on sharp, sculptural definition. The project employs analogue film techniques to lend a gritty, tactile quality to the editorial.
