Lanvin
Spring 2025 Ad Campaign

Oct 2024
For the Lanvin Spring 2025 campaign, the legendary photographer Steven Meisel orchestrates a masterclass in editorial portraiture that captures the house's latest evolution with striking clarity. Through a series of monochromatic compositions, the project leans into a raw, tactile aesthetic that prioritizes form, light, and the intricate details of luxury accessories. Each frame feels intimate yet grand, utilizing a blend of natural light and studio strobe to reveal the interplay between the subjects and the collection’s structural elegance. Art direction by M/M Paris provides a cohesive, minimalist framework that allows the talent, including Raquel Zimmermann, Maty Fall, and Pierrick George, to command the lens with unfiltered presence. The visuals are elevated by the precision of hair styling by Guido Palau and makeup artistry by Pat McGrath, while Mary Howard’s thoughtful set design anchors the narrative in a polished, timeless environment. Whether capturing the subtle interplay of shadow and texture in a contemplative close-up or the bold geometry of a model in motion against a stark backdrop, the campaign feels like a definitive study of contemporary luxury. By embracing an authentic, high-fashion editorial style, the work highlights the intersection of personality and craft, successfully translating Lanvin's storied heritage into a sharp, modern visual language that resonates with both sophistication and narrative depth.
