Soap is a fashion editorial series produced for Lampoon Magazine that explores the intersection of structured tailoring and domestic surrealism. The project contrasts crisp formal menswear—ranging from sharp pinstripe suits to mustard button-downs—with subversive elements like lace-trimmed knits, fur stoles, and cone-bra layering. Captured with an editorial eye, the imagery oscillates between lush outdoor garden settings and intimate, textured interiors. Photographer Alexandra Alvarez Garcia utilizes natural light to emphasize tactile details, from the sheen of silk blouses to the coarse grain of tweed and faux fur. Working with fashion editor Andrea Colace, the series builds a distinct visual narrative through a mix of raw, analogue-inspired portraits and staged group dynamics. Hair stylist Tsuyoshi Tamai and makeup artist Hugo Villard provide precise grooming and character-driven styling for the ensemble cast, which includes models Charles de Linière, Connor Newall, Delta van Melle, and Yuri Horban.
