Fragments of the life is a series of editorial spreads published in JON Magazine. The project features a sequence of monochrome portraits and diptychs that emphasize sharp tailoring and fabric textures through a minimalist lens. Photographer Igor Vavilov and fashion editor Daniil Kudryavtsev collaborate to produce an aesthetic driven by cinematic lighting and character-focused composition. The editorial leans into an analogue film aesthetic, utilizing high-contrast grading and low-key chiaroscuro techniques to highlight the sculptural elements of the styling. Each frame captures the interplay between layered outerwear, tailored suits, and detailed accessories, maintaining a consistent narrative thread across the publication's layouts.
