Fragments of the Life, a fashion editorial series for JON Magazine, centers on character-driven portraiture and structured tailoring. Photographed by Igor Vavilov with styling by Daniil Kudryavtsev, the project presents a narrative through high-contrast monochrome imagery that highlights the interplay between expressive gesture and classic menswear garments. The editorial leans into a cinematic aesthetic, utilizing clean studio settings and low-key chiaroscuro lighting to isolate textural details in layered outerwear, knitwear, and accessories. Captured on analogue film, the diptych layouts combine wide-angle compositions with extreme close-ups, creating a rhythmic visual language that moves between contemplative stillness and sharp, architectural portraiture.
