Interlope Magazine presents La Timpa, a series of editorial portraits highlighting contemporary designer fashion. Captured by photographer Sam Nixon, the project explores a range of textures and silhouettes, moving between studio-based compositions and atmospheric, raw interior settings. The work incorporates a variety of visual techniques, including analogue film aesthetics and double exposure, to create high-contrast, moody visuals. Fashion editor and stylist Marissa Baklayan curates a diverse wardrobe, layering graphic streetwear, structured outerwear, and tactile fabrics. Makeup artist Tayler Treadwell complements the styling with a focus on clean, intentional details. The series features model La Timpa across a collection of portraits that lean into moody, desaturated tones and minimalist set design.
