Hypebeast presents a fashion editorial collaboration between Valentino and Vans, documenting the intersection of high-fashion tailoring and classic skate footwear. Photographed by Jeff Hahn with fashion styling by Ignacio de Tiedra, the series leans into a cinematic aesthetic, exploring diverse urban environments ranging from vintage cinema auditoriums to dimly lit convenience store aisles and neon-washed city streets. Employing a moody, chiaroscuro-heavy approach, the imagery highlights the collection’s intricate textiles, including tweed blazers, lace tights, and structured jackets, contrasted against the graphic patterns of the collaborative footwear. Hair styling by Yoshitaka Miyazaki and makeup by Mari Kuno complement the layered, high-contrast look, which often utilizes analogue film techniques and warm, golden lighting to frame the subjects in an atmospheric light.
