Description

Riviera Mood is a seasonal fashion campaign for H&M, shot by photographer David Portela. The project channels a relaxed seaside aesthetic through a series of editorial portraits and coastal scenes featuring model Mathilda Gvarliani. Art direction by Mimi Makela ties the imagery together, utilising natural light and analogue-style film techniques to create a consistent, high-contrast visual language. Working across both colour and monochrome, the production captures a Mediterranean-inspired narrative with styling by hair stylist Andrea Martinelli and makeup artist Jose Carlos Gonzalez. Casting direction was provided by Rita Ornellas, ensuring the project maintains a focused, minimalist aesthetic throughout the outdoor-led series.
