HERO Magazine
Shortly ...

Mar 2026
Shortly is a striking designer fashion editorial series that captures a fluid, contemporary approach to menswear, masterfully balancing traditional tailoring with avant-garde textile play. Through the lens of HERO Magazine, the project explores a high-concept dialogue between minimalist studio settings and intricate, voluminous garments—ranging from ruffled collars and delicate lace appliqués to structured floral coats. The editorial leanings are elevated by a deliberate mix of mediums, utilizing both crisp studio strobe lighting and the raw, tactile quality of 35mm film to achieve a cinematic depth. Stylist Peghah Maleknejad curates a series of eclectic, textured ensembles that challenge conventional silhouettes, while casting director Alexandre Junior Cyprien ensures the movement and poise of model Luke Pearson breathe life into every frame. The visual narrative is further refined by the precise grooming of hair stylist Christos Bairabas, whose work with tousled, voluminous hair textures adds an organic layer to the polished compositions. Whether captured through a grainy, analogue film aesthetic or high-key studio portraiture, the collection reads as a cohesive study of sartorial identity, where soft pastels and bold floral motifs meet clean lines and geometric poses. Ultimately, the work serves as a testament to editorial minimalism, focusing on the interplay of fabric, light, and form to create a sophisticated, timeless perspective on modern designer fashion.
