HERO Magazine presents a series of fashion portraits titled HUGO, featuring a curated look at contemporary tailoring and minimalist streetwear. Shot by photographer and fashion editor Davey Sutton, the editorial leans into a monochromatic aesthetic, utilizing neutral grey and dark backdrops to isolate and highlight the structure of the garments. The project features model Jum Kuochnin across a variety of settings, ranging from layered suit ensembles and jumpsuits to more stylized, casual imagery. With casting directed by Remi Felipe and hair styling provided by Brady Lea, the series maintains a focus on clean lines and consistent studio lighting throughout. Technically, the portraits employ vertical framing to emphasize garment draping, utilising a combination of natural light and chiaroscuro techniques to create a refined editorial mood.
