Helmut Lang Fall 2026

Aug 2026
The Helmut Lang Fall 2026 campaign leans into the house’s legacy of intellectual minimalism, presenting a collection that feels both rigorously architectural and effortlessly modern. Through the lens of photographer Johnson Lui, the series unfolds within a stark, studio-based environment, where the boundaries between garment and structure blur. The editorial aesthetic relies on natural light and soft, diffused illumination, effectively highlighting the interplay between the collection’s voluminous shearling textures and sharp, tailored silhouettes. Art direction by Becca Thandi Halev strips away the unnecessary, utilizing plywood geometric platforms and industrial accents to ground the monochromatic palette of cream, charcoal, and black. Stylist Clare Byrne champions the brand’s commitment to utilitarian elegance, pairing fluid slip dresses and structured double-breasted coats with wide-leg trousers that demand presence. Model Sara Grace Wallerstedt anchors the imagery, her poised, contemplative poses reinforcing the collection’s focus on clean lines and refined fabrications. With hair styling by Kazu Katahira and makeup by Jen Myles, the visuals maintain a consistent, understated sophistication that echoes corporate precision. Produced by Leah Stammer, this commercial project avoids seasonal clutter in favor of a timeless, high-fashion narrative. By integrating these raw, industrial-inspired elements, the campaign creates a cohesive visual language that underscores the brand’s signature blend of function and conceptual design, resulting in a series that is inherently architectural yet deeply human.
