Givenchy
Holiday 2024 Ad Campaign

Nov 2024
The Givenchy Holiday 2024 campaign is a masterclass in editorial minimalism, blending the precise tailoring of luxury fashion with an unexpectedly playful, intellectual atmosphere. Under the lens of photographer Mark Kean, the campaign strips away the typical frantic energy of holiday marketing, replacing it with a series of quiet, cinematic moments centered on leisure and focused interaction. Models Mary Ukech and Milo de Clerck serve as the canvas for a collection defined by rich textures, featuring faux fur, metallic accents, and leather finishes that are elevated by the meticulous styling of Rae Boxer. The visual narrative unfolds in a curated, neutral-toned environment that leans into the juxtaposition of high-fashion structure and the whimsy of childhood games, including chess and wooden puzzles. Hair by Olivier Schawalder and makeup by Gemma Smith-Edhouse emphasize a polished, architectural aesthetic, while set designer Jeanne Briand crafts a minimalist backdrop that allows the intricate details of the garments—from padlock charms to feathered bodices—to take center stage. Through a combination of low-key chiaroscuro lighting, crisp studio strobe, and soft natural light, the campaign channels a sophisticated, contemplative mood. This series successfully repositions holiday dressing as an immersive, tactile experience, prioritizing clean lines and deliberate composition to create an enduring and refined vision for the season.
