Single, Next is a moody, expansive fashion editorial series produced for Fucking Young. The project channels a raw, tactile aesthetic, moving between high-contrast monochromatic studio portraiture and intimate, low-key interior scenes. Through the lens of photographer Joey Leo, the work leans into a gritty, cinematic atmosphere defined by dramatic flash lighting and intentional perspective distortion. The series explores themes of youth and form, utilizing varied techniques including chiaroscuro, macro-scale skin texture studies, and soft, natural light set-ups. Whether capturing shirtless subjects against minimalist studio sweeps or lounging on plush, shadowed upholstery, the imagery prioritizes a direct, visceral approach to contemporary menswear storytelling.
