On the Concept of MiMa is a fashion editorial project commissioned by Fucking Young, showcasing a collection of sartorial contrasts and staged interior narratives. The series explores complex textures and bold patterns through the lens of photographer Louise Reinke, utilising natural light and deliberate styling to frame each subject within curated domestic spaces. From layered streetwear and heavy knitwear to elaborate ruffled gowns and structured leather garments, the work leans into an eclectic, high-contrast aesthetic. Technically refined yet intimate in tone, the project employs a mix of warm, grainy film-inspired textures and clean, direct flash compositions. Each frame acts as a study in composition, balancing vibrant textiles and architectural details against minimalist surroundings to create a cohesive editorial vision.
