On the Concept of MiMa is a fashion editorial series for Fucking Young, exploring interplay between diverse textiles and structured interior settings. Photographer Louise Reinke captures a series of portraits and staged scenes that lean into an aesthetic of layered contrast, pairing intricate, heavily textured garments with bold patterned backgrounds and minimalist architectural details. The series utilizes natural light and direct flash to emphasize the tactile quality of the clothing, from leather corsetry and sequin gowns to plush knitwear.
