Fucking Young
OUTLAW

Apr 2026
The editorial project OUTLAW, featured in Fucking Young, offers a provocative exploration of contemporary masculinity through a modern Western lens. Under the creative direction of Numair Asmi, who also helmed the casting, the series moves beyond traditional tropes to synthesize raw, athletic physicality with refined sartorial elements. Photographer Alejandro Ramirez captures the subjects in a series of intimate, studio-based portraits that utilize soft natural light and precise studio strobe setups to highlight skin texture and garment detailing. The styling leans into a deliberate contrast between rugged archetypes—such as felt cowboy hats, leather shearling, and fringe—and delicate, fashion-forward pieces like velvet trousers, mesh textures, and molten-style silver jewelry. By blending minimalist, high-key white backgrounds with dramatic low-key chiaroscuro lighting, the editorial channels a cinematic mood that feels both nostalgic and distinctly current. Grooming by Marcos Perez enhances the visual narrative, with slicked-back, wet-look hair and controlled waves framing the models' features. Throughout the shoot, the interplay of monochrome palettes, structured tailoring, and unconventional layering reinforces the project's subversion of the outlaw mythos. Whether focusing on the stark anatomy of the torso or the intricate craftsmanship of silver accessories, the work maintains a tight, elevated aesthetic that prioritizes texture, form, and an unyielding, direct gaze from its subjects, cementing its place as a standout piece of high-fashion editorial imagery.
