Lab Rat is a fashion editorial project commissioned by Fucking Young, featuring model Sadiq Desh. The series explores structured tailoring and avant-garde styling through a diverse range of studio environments and lighting conditions. The imagery utilizes a clean editorial aesthetic, alternating between bright, high-key studio setups against white backdrops and moody, low-key compositions defined by intense monochromatic red lighting. Techniques such as neon highlights and chiaroscuro emphasize the textures of satin, knitwear, and intricate metal accessories. Makeup artistry is provided by Sharbel Hasbany, whose work supports the varying, stylized hair and polished, avant-garde elements integrated throughout the shoot.
