Derrick
'Intermission' 2025 Ad Campaign

Feb 2025
The Derrick Intermission 2025 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in modern luxury fashion house storytelling, blending the quiet intensity of urban solitude with the sophisticated precision of contemporary tailoring. Directed by Dylan Hayes with Mikey Massey capturing the evocative imagery, the project leans into an aesthetic of editorial minimalism. Through a series of candid portraits and lifestyle vignettes, the campaign documents a wandering protagonist navigating an overcast metropolitan landscape. The visuals are defined by a somber, cinematic palette, utilizing natural light to accentuate the tactile qualities of layered streetwear and structured outerwear. Techniques such as high-contrast black and white photography, including subtle nods to analogue film textures and dramatic chiaroscuro lighting, elevate the collection beyond standard commercial fare. With creative direction from Luke Derrick and styling by Ola Ebiti, the editorial focus highlights intricate layering—pairing olive overcoats and navy scarves with clean, earth-toned staples. Casting director Piotr Chamier, alongside models Robert Suthers, Nick Offord, and Finn Collins, brings a contemplative, grounded energy to the series. The result is a cohesive narrative that channels the duality of metropolitan movement and personal stillness, perfectly capturing the nuanced spirit of the Derrick brand through a lens of quiet, high-end editorial refinement.
