NOUVEAUX TALISMANS

Apr 2026
Harper’s Bazaar France presents Nouveaux Talismans, a sophisticated fashion editorial that masterfully interrogates the interplay between raw materiality and refined luxury. Under the creative direction of Franck Durand, the project channels a sense of quiet intensity, juxtaposing the organic irregularities of hand-wrought gold jewelry against the polished, industrial surfaces of vinyl and leather. Photographer Marek Chorzepa employs a masterful command of light throughout the series, alternating between the soft, directional quality of natural light and the precise, controlled brilliance of studio strobe setups. The editorial portraits, styled by Met Kilinc, lean into a minimalist aesthetic, where the tactile complexity of lace and ruffled leather serves as a canvas for intricate, layered pendants and druzy stones. Macro imagery of the accessories underscores the collection’s focus on craftsmanship, elevating the hardware to the status of modern relics. With hair styling by Pål Berdahl and casting curated by Piergiorgio Del Moro, the project feels both grounded and aspirational. By stripping away visual clutter, the campaign achieves a crisp, high-end editorial rhythm that defines the contemporary intersection of accessory design and luxury fashion media. This synthesis of portraiture and commercial product photography creates a cohesive, tactile narrative, proving that the true power of a talisman lies in the deliberate, delicate fusion of form and texture.
