Dazed MENA launches its debut edition with the Issue 01 Spring 2025 covers, a series of editorial portraits that traverse the landscape of fashion and contemporary identity. The project brings together a collaborative roster of photographers including Pegah Farahmand, Ilyes Griyeb, and Mohamed Bourouissa, alongside stylists and hair and makeup artists to document a diverse group of talent including Alek Wek, Nora Attal, and Paloma Elsesser. The series leans into a clean and often minimalist aesthetic, utilising natural light to foreground the intricate textures of the garments and subjects. From monochrome studio portraiture to high-angle analogue film captures of dance, the covers frame a variety of cultural perspectives. The visual language is defined by a blend of classic editorial composition and structured, bold typography that highlights the intersection of international style within the MENA region.
