Yellow Flicker Beat is a fashion editorial series for Dazed Magazine, captured by photographer Mark Peckmezian. The series utilizes moody, low-key lighting and cinematic framing to document an ensemble of models within an intimate, nightlife-inspired setting. The project channels a raw, energetic aesthetic through the interplay of warm stage lighting and deep shadows. Fashion director Imruh Asha curates a collection of diverse textures, from metallic gowns to casual knitwear, while choreography by Benjamin Jonsson and casting by Holly Cullen drive the dynamic, motion-focused compositions. Hair by Naoki Komiya and makeup by Anne Sophie Costa maintain a balanced, polished look amidst the gritty, atmospheric environment. The series is presented through a mixture of analogue film and live-action techniques.
