COS
COS S/S 26 show teaser

Mar 2026
The countdown to the COS Spring/Summer 2026 runway show has officially begun, and the brand is setting the stage with a teaser campaign that embodies their signature commitment to refined luxury fashion. By stripping away the noise, this series of images leans into a sophisticated, minimalist aesthetic that feels both atmospheric and intentionally restrained. Photographer Jori Komulainen captures the essence of the collection through high-contrast silhouettes and soft-focus profiles, playing with light and depth-of-field techniques to create a ghost-like, cinematic presence. The visual narrative is punctuated by precise, clean sans-serif typography that anchors the monochromatic compositions, providing just enough information—the date, the season, and the Seoul location—to pique interest without overwhelming the viewer. With creative oversight from art directors Johanna Bonnevier and Peter Ainsworth, the project transforms simple brand communication into a disciplined study of form and space. The use of a subtle red glow in one frame acts as a strategic intervention against the otherwise pale, muted backdrop, signaling a shift in the brand’s visual vocabulary. By balancing editorial minimalism with clear commercial intent, this teaser functions as a masterclass in modern luxury branding, proving that a brand can command attention through the quiet, confident precision of its graphic identity and an uncompromising dedication to visual clarity.
