Coeval Magazine's 𝟩̶𝘈̶𝘓̶𝘒̶ project is an expansive fashion editorial series that explores the intersection of botanical sculpture and human portraiture. Photographer Geray Mena and creative director Donald Gjoka develop a visual language that alternates between high-contrast, analogue-film experimentation and somber, atmospheric narratives. The series leans into stark chiaroscuro techniques, frequently utilizing negative-film effects and inverted tones to elevate organic textures. These sculptural floral arrangements—often stark white against deep black backgrounds—are juxtaposed with location-based imagery featuring stylized silhouettes. Makeup artist Laura Del Muro complements the project's avant-garde aesthetic with precise, deliberate details that anchor the moody, editorial compositions.
