Boys Like Us is a fashion editorial series for COAT Magazine that explores contemporary masculinity through a series of candid, observational portraits. Photographed by Oliver Begg, the project moves between clean, minimalist studio setups and gritty, outdoor environments, utilising natural light and an analogue aesthetic to frame its subjects. The work leans into a documentary-style approach, highlighting fabric textures and layered silhouettes. The series features styling by Patrick Zaczkiewicz and hair by Darren Summors, who together craft a look defined by a blend of high-street staples, patterned layering, and subtle streetwear references. Through its varied use of chiaroscuro and monochromatic grading, the project emphasizes a tactile, high-contrast visual language.
