PULCHRITUDE is a fashion editorial series for Carnale Room that explores the intersection of sculptural form, tactile textiles, and minimalist high-fashion aesthetics. Captured by photographer Nagi Sakai, the project features model Lou Schoof in a series of abstract poses that emphasise organic curves and silhouette, often incorporating luxury accessories and still-life elements to create a rhythmic, graphic narrative. The execution relies on a clean, controlled studio environment to highlight fine details, ranging from intricate macrame and draped fringe to the smooth, supple textures of leather goods. With styling by Dione Davis, the imagery often leans into a monochromatic or neutral palette, utilising soft, diffused lighting to define contours and surface textures. The work is marked by a focus on composition, alternating between extreme close-ups and wide, sculptural framing to build a cohesive, visual vocabulary.
