For Issue 8: Classico Carnale, the luxury fashion house Carnale Room delivers a masterclass in editorial portraiture that interrogates the intersection of classical form and modern intimacy. Through a series of high-contrast black and white images, the project navigates the delicate tension between the rugged tactile nature of leather accessories and the vulnerability of the human body. Photographer Lady Tarin masterfully employs low-key chiaroscuro lighting to transform the frame into a sculptural study, where musculature, skin texture, and ornate details like western-stitched cowboy boots and fabric floral chokers become central protagonists. By leaning into an aesthetic of editorial minimalism, the collection captures an evocative, cinematic quality that feels both timeless and intentionally avant-garde.
