The Newsroom Case is a black-and-white fashion editorial series for CAP 74024 that explores narrative-driven imagery through a cinematic lens. By blending sharp tailoring with theatrical, investigative scenarios, the project constructs a moody atmosphere centered on the iconography of press conferences, vintage office equipment, and modernist interiors. Photographer Branislav Simoncik and creative director Antonio Moscogiuri anchor the aesthetic in high-contrast chiaroscuro lighting and raw textures. Styled by Joana Dacheville, the wardrobe emphasizes structural silhouettes—including trench coats, double-breasted blazers, and detailed midi dresses—that contrast against the minimalist, often brutalist, backdrops. Featuring models Debra Shaw and Nikita Stsjolokov, the work leans into a gritty, analogue film aesthetic to evoke a sense of professional urgency and architectural precision.
