Byredo presents an editorial fashion campaign for the Freestyle Swimsuit, shot by photographer Dougal Macarthur. The series follows model Deborah Akanni through a series of organic, atmospheric settings, juxtaposing the technical performance of the swimwear against lush, mountainous landscapes. The project leans into a moody aesthetic, utilizing natural light and high-contrast monochrome treatments to highlight the interplay between wet textures, volcanic rock, and dense foliage. By integrating detailed close-ups of the environment with composed portraits, the campaign anchors the product in a raw, earthly context.
