Burberry
MOTHERS DAY

Apr 2026
For this Mother’s Day campaign, Burberry masterfully leans into the intersection of heritage and domestic intimacy, creating an editorial narrative that feels both aspirational and deeply personal. Photographed by Ronan Gallagher, the imagery moves fluidly between high-end product spotlights and authentic lifestyle storytelling, effectively anchoring the brand’s luxury fashion houses identity within the warmth of the home. The project utilizes natural light to soften the edges of the brand’s iconic check patterns and structured leather silhouettes, grounding these staples against curated, lived-in interiors. Set design by Ian Salter plays a pivotal role, using props like vintage books, scattered toys, and fresh florals to bridge the gap between commercial product shots and genuine maternal connection. Models Alexandra Richards, Patti Hansen, and Theodora Richards bring a generational continuity to the portraits, which range from classic studio strobe packshots to candid, tender lifestyle moments. By weaving together cinematic, commercial techniques, the collection elevates the accessory line—from vanity bags to signature mules—as functional pieces of a larger, multi-generational story. The result is a sophisticated campaign that prioritizes tactile quality and emotional resonance, ensuring the iconic Burberry aesthetic remains synonymous with timeless elegance and the soft, quiet moments of motherhood, all captured with a refined, contemporary polish that respects the brand’s long-standing visual legacy.
