Brunello Cucinelli
Mediterranea

Jun 2026
Brunello Cucinelli’s Mediterranea campaign serves as a masterclass in quiet luxury, masterfully bridging the gap between high-end fashion and the timeless architectural heritage of the Italian coastline. Photographed by David Portela, the project leans into a sophisticated, monochromatic aesthetic that prioritizes tactile storytelling. Through the creative lens of fashion editor and stylist Michela Buratti, the campaign highlights the house’s dedication to artisanal craftsmanship, with the imagery—ranging from sharp, high-contrast portraits to dreamlike, sun-drenched lifestyle shots—celebrating the interplay of light and shade. The campaign effectively channels an evocative, Mediterranean-inspired narrative, utilizing 35mm film and natural light to capture the delicate interplay between the collection’s intricate knits, crochet textures, and the weathered, ancient stone settings. Featuring models Anita Pozzo, Ilana Hansen, and Tali Bulycheva, the visuals oscillate between candid, cinematic movement and composed, architectural stillness, aided by the precise hair styling of Werner Amort and makeup by Fabiana Clavario. Executive producer Camilla Tisi brings cohesion to this expansive project, which reads as both an ode to traditional European craftsmanship and a contemporary exploration of summer elegance. By focusing on natural materials and minimalist composition, the series avoids the noise of modern excess, instead opting for a cinematic quality that feels both nostalgic and distinctly forward-thinking, firmly grounding the brand in its heritage of understated, refined excellence.
