Description

The tenth anniversary of Blanc Festival marks a definitive moment for the intersection of festivals and events with sophisticated media and entertainment branding. Executed by the design studio Forma, the project establishes a cohesive visual language that balances industrial minimalism with high-energy digital gradients. Central to the brand identity is an exploration of contrast, utilizing vibrant magenta and electric lime green palettes against neutral, dark-toned backdrops. This cinematic approach is captured through both documentary-style photography of live presentations—which lean into low-key, chiaroscuro lighting techniques—and a rigorous editorial design system. The application of this identity across varied touchpoints, from clean, typography-led posters to merchandise and publication spreads, demonstrates a masterful command of graphic rhythm and negative space. The aesthetic choices leverage modern, bold sans-serif typography to anchor the festival's identity, while motion graphics integration during live sessions ensures the brand feels as dynamic in motion as it does in print. By weaving these disparate elements into a unified system, Forma successfully translates the event's raw, professional energy into a polished and contemporary visual narrative. Whether through the lens of live-action technique or abstract vector compositions, the project manages to sustain a consistent, high-impact aesthetic that feels both rooted in its local Barcelona context and globally relevant to the modern creative industry landscape.
