Description

Barneys presents Meet the Designers, an intimate portrait series profiling a selection of contemporary fashion voices. Photographed by Jimi Franklin, the project leans into a documentary aesthetic to capture designers including Batsheva, Christopher John Rogers, Colm Dillane, Elena Velez, Ev Bravado, Hillary Taymour, Jackson Wiederhoeft, Raul Lopez, Tela D'Amore, and Willy Chavarria within their personal and professional spaces. Featuring fashion direction by Julie Gilhart, the series utilises natural light and analogue film techniques to create a grounded, observational feel. The portraits shift between quiet residential interiors and busy urban environments, balancing clean editorial compositions with a candid, narrative style that highlights the personalities behind the labels.
