Balenciaga
Fall 2025 Ad Campaign

Oct 2025
For the Balenciaga Fall 2025 ad campaign, the brand pivots toward an intimate, domestic tableau that recontextualizes high-fashion accessories within the quietude of a private sanctuary. Shot by photographer David Sims, the campaign leans into a sophisticated editorial aesthetic, trading aggressive runway drama for the nuanced, tactile stillness of l’Hôtel de Maisons-Pozzo di Borgo. With creative direction from Pierpaolo Piccioli, the imagery features models Mona Tougaard and Sandra Murray in a series of relaxed, candid compositions that prioritize mood over artifice. Utilizing natural light to emphasize the grain of textured leather handbags and the rumpled luxury of white linens, the series oscillates between cinematic storytelling and commercial elegance. By framing signature studded bags and slouchy suede silhouettes against ornate gilded headboards, the work succeeds in grounding avant-garde luxury in the reality of an everyday lifestyle. The use of high-contrast black and white photography alongside soft, warm color portraits creates a balanced visual rhythm, reinforcing a sense of calm intentionality. This campaign is a masterclass in editorial minimalism, demonstrating how strategic lighting and deliberate accessory styling can elevate a simple bedroom setting into a high-fashion narrative, effectively positioning the latest collection as both aspirational and deeply personal for the modern consumer.
