Farbspiel for Annabelle Magazine is a high-energy fashion editorial that explores the intersection of athletic motion and sartorial sculpture. Photographed by Isabelle Wenzel, the series features model Lois Schalkwijk performing acrobatic feats across vast, arid coastal landscapes, with every frame frozen in sharp, high-speed clarity. The work leans into a surreal aesthetic, often obscuring the subject’s face with vibrant props or swirling garments to shift the focus entirely onto form and color. Creative direction and styling by Nathalie de Geyter anchor the project in a graphic, high-contrast palette, where saturated knitwear and voluminous silhouettes stand against expansive, clear blue skies.
