Kinderspiel, a fashion editorial for Annabelle Magazine by Marine Giraudo, merges high-fashion portraiture with raw, childlike spontaneity. The project centers on model Cyrine Hassine, whose structured styling is juxtaposed against a clean, white-space backdrop that functions as a canvas for hand-drawn scribbles, crayon illustrations, and watercolour washes. Techniques such as mixed-media overlays and minimalist composition define the series, blending ink sketches and painted floral motifs with crisp studio photography. By integrating playful, naive art—ranging from hand-drawn smartphone interfaces to abstracted creatures and brushwork—the imagery leans into a graphic, artistic aesthetic. The production features hair styling by Beth Shanefelter and makeup by Miki Matsunaga, creating a coherent visual language that balances refined fashion with whimsical, hand-rendered textures.
