Modern Goth is a high-fashion editorial series produced for Annabelle Magazine, captured by photographer Mattia Parodi. The project places model Isabel Monsees in an expansive desert landscape, using the rippled sand dunes as a stark, minimalist backdrop to frame a series of structured and avant-garde garments. The aesthetic leans into a cinematic, moody atmosphere, often utilizing monochrome tones or desaturated palettes to emphasize the sharp silhouettes and textural interplay of the styling. Technique-wise, the shoot relies on raw natural light and analogue film to ground the compositions in an earthy, tactile reality. Fashion direction is led by Nathalie de Geyter, with makeup artistry by Daniela Koller, both of whom define the clean and atmospheric aesthetic throughout the series.
