ANDRON JOURNAL SPRING 26 COVERS

Apr 2026
For The Feelings Issue, Andron Journal masterfully pivots away from traditional fashion editorial tropes to deliver a visual anthology of human vulnerability and structured masculinity. Under the discerning eye of creative director and fashion editor Kaner Kivanc, the magazine campaign oscillates between high-contrast cinematic portraiture and the raw, rhythmic geometry of urban landscapes. The series leverages a diverse roster of models, including Ahmad Kontar, Guirec Murie, and Jathi Uthayakumaran, to explore the complexities of emotion through a lens that feels both meticulously curated and deeply grounded. Utilizing varied techniques such as surreal double exposure, soft-focus studio strobe lighting, and clean editorial minimalism, the photography team—comprising CG Watkins, Emil Dietrich, Josh Hight, and Mert Terliksiz—establishes a visual dialogue that bridges the gap between high-end fashion and contemporary lifestyle media. Whether capturing shirtless subjects in a stripped-back studio or framing groups against the backdrop of imposing glass-fronted architecture, the project maintains a cohesive aesthetic rhythm. By integrating sophisticated styling by Kivanc and precise grooming by Hiromi Nishinaka, Andron Journal succeeds in presenting a multifaceted identity for the modern man. This collection reads as a bold, color-blocked exploration of interior states, proving that even within the rigid constraints of a magazine cover, the pursuit of feeling can be both aesthetically rigorous and profoundly resonant.
