Amina Muaddi
Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Apr 2024
The Spring 2024 ad campaign for Amina Muaddi masterfully distills the brand identity of the Bags and Accessories sector into a series of sharp, high-fashion editorial vignettes. By leaning into a clinical, minimalist aesthetic, the campaign emphasizes the sculptural nature of the footwear and handbags, utilizing studio strobe lighting to achieve a precise, high-key finish that feels both modern and timeless. Art director Jahleel Weaver crafts a visual narrative that pivots on geometric tension and stark contrast, allowing the products to command center stage against pristine, off-white backdrops. Model Anok Yai brings a focused, statuesque energy to each frame, her presence perfectly balanced by the clean styling of Katie Burnett. The interplay between soft skin tones and the rigid, ornate textures of the accessories is elevated by Olivier Schawalder's slick hair direction and Patrick Glatthaar's exacting makeup artistry. Captured by photographers Tanya Posternak and Zhenya Posternak, the imagery avoids excess in favor of a rigorous focus on form, where a high-heeled pump or a mesh-textured sandal is treated with the same architectural importance as the subject herself. This commercial work reads as a sophisticated exercise in restraint, where the deliberate use of negative space forces a deeper appreciation for the intricate design language that has become the hallmark of the Amina Muaddi label.
