Parallel is a fashion editorial produced for Also Journal, featuring a series of minimalist portraits and still-life imagery that explore the intersection of structured design and urban architecture. Photographed by Ramona Deckers, the project relies on natural light and clean, graphic compositions to emphasize the sculptural qualities of the featured apparel. The editorial showcases model Yang Xiu Ling in a variety of avant-garde and textured ensembles, ranging from metallic fringes to layered leather harnesses and voluminous, plush outerwear. Makeup artistry by Rie Shiraishi maintains a polished, cohesive aesthetic throughout the series, complementing the tactile nature of the garments against the raw, concrete backdrop of the urban setting.
