Are We Worth Saving? is an expansive editorial feature for Alice.D Magazine that bridges the gap between high-fashion portraiture and conceptual still life. The project leans into a clean, minimalist aesthetic, using macro photography to explore textures ranging from cosmetic gloss and skin detail to industrial materials like paper pulp and glass. Photographer Jess Brohier captures the series, working alongside creative director Lucy Jane Brand to maintain a cohesive visual identity across diverse subjects. The imagery is defined by bold lighting choices—alternating between soft beauty light and moody, high-contrast directional setups—set against neutral studio backdrops. The production was overseen by Alice.D Studio, with beauty direction supported by hair stylist Jordan Hallewell and make-up artist Julie Provis.
