Are We Worth Saving? is an expansive editorial project for Alice.D Magazine, orchestrated by creative director Lucy Jane Brand. The series leans into a clean, minimalist aesthetic, combining high-fashion portraiture with conceptual still-life photography to explore textures and form. Photographer Jess Brohier captures the narrative through a lens of sharp contrasts, utilizing macro photography and beauty light to isolate specific details—from glossy cosmetic applications to intricate wardrobe hardware. The project features a diverse range of visual compositions, including deliberate, moody still lifes set against rich red backdrops and crisp, neutral-toned studio portraits. Hair stylist Jordan Hallewell and make-up artist Julie Provis contribute to the series' polished, high-fashion look through detailed skin textures and precise grooming. With casting and production handled by Alice.D Studio, the editorial integrates digital UI elements and graphic typography, resulting in a cohesive, multi-layered visual layout.
