The Extreme Cashmere x Aleï Journal collaboration presents a series of editorial portraits focused on the tactile quality of knitwear. Photographed by Kwabena Sekyi Appiah-nti, the project explores the interplay between soft, high-end textiles and industrial or urban environments. Through a mix of natural light and moody, low-key chiaroscuro lighting, the imagery highlights the material texture of the garments. The compositions shift between expansive, low-angle architectural shots and intimate, focused portraiture to frame the collection against varied settings, from raw terracotta surfaces to minimalist metal backdrops. Employing a minimalist aesthetic, the series emphasizes form and fabric weight through deliberate, clean framing techniques.
